OIL ON PANEL

DEMONSTRATION PAINTING COMPLETED IN 1 HOUR

Last summer's teaching was fantastic!  Almost all classes were SOLD OUT.  The weather co-operated and when we worked on location it was perfect.  Everyone said that they has a fantastic time and had learned a lot.  Many indicated that they enjoyed it so much that they would be returning again this year, so it is likely that most courses will be again SOLD OUT.  So if you are planning to attend one of my courses you should plan to enroll early.

I will be teaching only three week long workshops this summer, starting in Southampton in June then two courses at Loyalist College in July.

Student painting Chantry Island from the beach - Southampton

SOUTHAMPTON SCHOOL OF ART

Southampton School of Art is one of the oldest summer art schools in Ontario, founded in 1957.  Located in the picturesque town of Southampton on Lake Huron, home to one of the last fishing fleets on the Great Lakes, it offers painters the opportunity to paint unique harbour scenes.  The studio is air-conditioned and painting locations are within a short walking distance of the school.  There are good accommodations available in the area and the public beach is one of the finest in Canada.  For further information go to the Southampton School of Art website www.theartschool.org and Town of Southampton www.saugeenshores.ca

LOYALIST COLLEGE

Located in the city of Belleville on the shore of Lake Ontario, Loyalist College has excellent studios and affordable accommodation in modern air-conditioned residences.  Belleville offers excellent shopping and dining locations.  Across the harbour bridge historic Prince Edward County offers many quaint villages, 19th century farms, and vineyards.  There is frequent train and bus service from Toronto and excellent public transit from the college to the town center.  For information on Belleville: www.quinte.on.ca or Loyalist College www.loyalistc.on.ca
